8:00 am Registration – YMCA

8:30 am Introduction -YMCA
Note: Welcome meeting, introductions, rules, overview of camp schedule, ridding etiquette, rules of the road, dehydration, sunburn. Tandem team, will stay another 15 min to discuss roles of pilots and stokers.

9:00 – 10:15 am Athlete Assessment
Head Coach Hector Torres
Note: Group will be divided and coaches will interview each athlete. They will focus on biomechanics, range of motion, flexibility and mind set.

10:30 am – 12n Swim – Technique & Analysis
Swim Video Review
Head Coach: Eric Kahl
Notes: Bring swim gear and apparel.

12n – 1:30 Lunch
Guest Speaker: Loyal Pyczynski – 2010 Ironman World Champion – PC and 2011 Team USA

1:30 pm – 3 pm Bike Trainer
Location: YMCA
Head Coach: Emily Jetton
Note: Pedaling technique, cornering, riding a straight line and holding it through turns, looking back, slowing/stopping in a straight line, standing smoothly on the bike, obstacle avoidance, turn arounds, riding two or three abreast in a straight line and through corners.

3:30 pm – 5 pm Run Video Analysis
Location: Howard Track Middle School
Head Coach: Jackie Miller
Note: The coach will provide the athletes with the most recent evidence-based practice guidelines for the examination, differential diagnosis and treatment interventions for running-related injuries.

5:30 pm Dinner

7:00 pm Team Meeting – 1.25 hr
Location: Tri Peak Athele, LLC
Lecture: Nutrition
Moderator: Hector Torres
Notes: Focusing on proper nutrition, metabolic efficiency during and after training.

8 am – 12n Bike Ride (Endurance / Hill Climb) /Run After Bike
Location: National Training Institute
Head Coach: Hector Torres
Note: We will meet at the NTSMI and then drive to Lake Louisa. Hill repeats and run after bike. Please bring appropriate nutrition and hydration.

12n – 1:30 pm Lunch

2 pm – 4 pm Recovery Ride
Location: Lake Minneola State Park
Note: Easy ride at Zone 1

4 pm – 5:30 pm Run Motion Analysis – Lecture
Moderator: Jackie Miller
Note: Review of Video and drills.

Note: Review how to create your ATP and review race strategies for the year.

12:00 n – 1:45 pm Swim Lecture and Swim
Location: Tri Peak Athlete, LLC and then we will drive to the DTWN YMCA.
Head Coach: Eric Kahl
Note: Swim videos will be reviewed and recommendations will be given to each athlete.

2:00 pm – 3:00 Recovery Snack – Recap and review
Location: DTWN YMCA
