PR Bar

Was reading online on bars that don’t have that much junk in them, you can use on the bike or pre workout, not have that much sugars in which will mess up your Gi or shoot your glycemic index threw the roof.

I ran into the PR bar. I’ve tried it out and it works.

This is how their system works:
ON AVERAGE CUSTOMERS WILL LOSE BETWEEN 1 1/2 – 2 POUNDS OF BODY FAT PER WEEK.
The PR*Bar and the FASTBURN Nutrition Program offer the following benefits:
Use of stored body fat for energy
Reduces hunger and sugar cravings for 3-6 hours
Increased levels of physical and mental energy
Less fatigue, light-headedness, and mood swings
Improved tissue repair and recovery, resulting in fewer injuries
Increased metabolism as a result of an increase in lean body mass

The premise of the FASTBURN Nutrition Program is to keep blood sugar levels steady and this will help teach the body to use fat as an energy source. The key to losing fat and building muscle is to maintain a good frequency of eating and consume meals or snacks that are balanced with slow release (low glycemic) carbohydrates such as fruits and vegetables and also contain a source of lean protein and healthy fat. The ratio of carbohydrates, proteins and fats help to control a hormone known as insulin. Insulin is responsible for taking carbohydrates that are consumed and storing them as glycogen (muscle and liver stores of carbohydrate) or fat. By keeping blood sugars stable, insulin is also steady and the body will not store the food we consume as fat and will not prevent the body from being able to access fat stores. A nutrition plan balanced with slow release carbohydrates, lean proteins and healthy fats will ensure a healthy insulin response and the use of fat by the body as a fuel source that will help to keep blood sugar levels stable.
