Arriving at Race Site
Arrive a few days in advance of the race so you can become familiar with the venue.
Swim start – Review the swim start area; early morning is best as winds and chop are more likely to be light. Review the swim exit area, if possible.
Transition areas. Walk the transition areas to familiarize yourself with their layout.
Personal time. Carve out a few hours each day to relax and review your written race plan. By leaving yourself under schedule during Race Week, you will reduce the pressure on yourself.
